About us

Seventeen years of carburetor work, one direction.

CarbForge has spent nearly two decades on a single question: how do we make better carburetor parts for the world's motorcycles?

Our story

CarbForge was founded in 2008 in Hangzhou, China, as a specialist in motorcycle carburetor parts. From the start, the goal was narrow and specific: engineer and produce carburetor assemblies, repair kits, and wear components to a tolerance standard that independent workshops and distributors could rely on.

In 2012 we opened e-commerce channels, first on major Chinese marketplaces. The direct-to-buyer feedback loop reshaped how we planned the catalog — we stopped guessing which fitments mattered and let demand lead the tooling queue.

In 2020 we went fully global. Cross-border storefronts on AliExpress and Amazon put our parts into more than 100 countries. Today the catalog runs to over 3,000 SKUs across the K, M, and T series, produced across four factories and supported by two R&D centers.

The name, the team, and the focus have not changed. We still make carburetor parts for motorcycles. We just make more of them, for more places, to the same standard.

The name CarbForge

CarbForge pairs two ideas. Carb is the shorthand every motorcycle rider uses for carburetor — it tells people what we do before they finish reading. Forge is where we stand on how we do it: metal, heat, craft, precision. In Chinese the brand is 卡锋 (Kǎ Fēng) — 卡 carries the sound of Carb, and 锋 means the sharp edge of a blade. The pairing is deliberate. We make one kind of part, and we try to make it sharper than it has to be.

What we stand for

Precision

A carburetor part that sits half a tenth out of spec is a part that comes back. We design, tool, and inspect around that fact.

Partnership

Distributors and OEM partners are not transactions. We plan catalogs together, share roadmap input, and keep shipping windows honest.

Longevity

We still stock parts for bikes the OEMs stopped supporting years ago. Keeping older motorcycles on the road is part of the job.

Our headquarters

Our headquarters sits in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province — one of China's main clusters for precision parts manufacturing and cross-border commerce. The HQ runs R&D coordination, international sales, customer service, and export logistics. Production is distributed across multiple bases in China.
